Christopher Patrick (Jockey):
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, 8 January 2016, aged 47 years. Dearly loved Dad of Jake, Sam and Lucy, and Stevie. Loved partner of Kate. Dearly loved son of John and Carol. Brother of Michelle and Michael, brother-in-law of Tomas and Annie, uncle of India (London), Jade and Miya. Special friend of Manu and Fenella Christy and all of his mates, too many to mention. Special thanks to Kate and Michelle for their extraordinary care of Jockey over this period. Messages to be sent to PO Box 57200, Mana. Jockey's funeral will be held at the Paremata-Plimmerton Rugby Clubrooms, Ngatitoa Domain, Pascoe Avenue, Paremata, on Wednesday, 13 January 2016 at 11:00am.

Heartfelt Sympathy on your loss. I will be flying to Akld at the very time of the service so unfortunately I cannot attend. I will be thinking of you in the air Carol, John and family at this very hard time tomorrow. My heart goes out to the family at this very sad time Jockey was a wonderful friend to many and his passing left a hole in peoples hearts. The rugby and softball clubs won't be the same without him. Rest in peace Jockey
