Passed away, unexpectedly at home, on Saturday 25th June 2022. Beloved wife of the late Clayton. Much loved mother of Tessa, Nana Tic to Hugh and Grace. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Diane and Andrew Grace, and David and Hilary Brewer. A service to celebrate Christine's life will be held at St Andrew's Anglican Church, Titiraupenga Street, Taupo, on Friday 1st July at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. Christine didn´t suffer fools gladly. Fierce defender of democracy, openness and transparency in local government. If one was fortunate enough to be invited and be part of her inner sanctum her loyalty was second to none. Oh and one last thing her garage resembled a smaller version of the National Library full of minutes, reports, plans submissions etc. one of the most read and informed person I know.
