Christina VAN BLADEREN Obituary

Passed away peacefully in the company of her family on 30th April 2024 at Palms Lifecare & Village, Pukekohe, aged 94. Loved wife of the late Michel. Beloved Mum of Annemieke and Peter, mother-in-law of Nicky and Barry, treasured Oma of Sarah, Karyn, Marcus and Andre, adored sister and Aunt of the Kolijn family and special Aunt of Sue. The family wish to thank the dedicated staff and residents at Palms Lifecare for their compassionate, warmhearted care and friendship where Christina felt at home over the last 5-6 years. On Christina's request, a private service and cremation was held on 2nd May 2024.

Dear Peter, Annemieka, I am sorry I have only just learned of your mothers passing. I often think of Christina. She was very generous and kind to my mum, Vivienne, and to me. I would visit mum and stay with Christina in her beautiful Taupo apartment. She was very knowledgeable, quick witted, had a real design flare and diverse range of interests. I enjoyed hearing her many stories about her life. 94 years! What a life fully lived. Sending you my warmest wishes, and to Christina a toast. I am very glad I met you. Kelley
