Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday 22nd August 2024, aged 82. Loving partner of Dianne Wilson. Loved Mother of Scott, her late son Chris and Mother in-law to Sandra. Much loved Gran of Quintin & partner Sarah, and Reuben. Loving sister of Robin & partner Majella, sister of Michael. Loved Sister in-law of Becky & Aunty to Glenda, Lisa & Joseph and their families. Special thanks to all the staff at Riverleigh Rest home and Hutt Hospital for all their amazing care. There will be no funeral service, a memorial gathering to celebrate Cherry will be held at a later date.

A great colleague from times past who had no enemies! Always willing, and able, to help. The Last of the True Telephonists, who embraced changes to technology and diversified and developed new skills. Not to forget her socialising expertise- and had some great incriminating photographic evidence!
