Piper 1st Battalion, Irish Guards Reg No: 2724494. Mentioned in Despatch (MiD). Born: Tipperary, Ireland 1926. Passed away peacefully in Wellington on 15 October 2016. Much loved husband of Anne-Marie; father and father-in-law of Rob and Karen, Esther and Cameron, Will and step-grandchildren Rachel and James. Cherished by family overseas and friends. Messages may be left in Cecil's online memorial book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted to PO Box 12391, Thorndon, Wellington 6144. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be posted to PO Box 601, Wellington 6140 or left at the service. A Service for Cecil will be held at 4pm Wednesday 19 October 2016 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, 4 Moorefield Rd, Johnsonville followed by private cremation.
