Catherine RANDALL Obituary

Island Bay – On Friday 19th April 2024, peacefully at home, aged 70 years. Dearly loved wife of Bernie. Loving mother of Lydia and Leo. Devoted grandmother of Harvey, August, Ollie and Danielle. Sister of Elizabeth, Alistair, Lesley, Lyndsay and Adrienne (dec). Loved by all her friends. Special thanks to the staff of Wellington Hospital Haematology Ward 5 for their care and support of Cath. Rather than flowers, the Randall family would appreciate donations to The Mary Potter Hospice or The Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made online at: https://www.cancer.org.nz/donate-now/ or https://marypotter.org.nz/support-us/donations/ . I'm so sorry to hear this tragic news. Cath was an absolute force of nature and always seemed unstoppable to me. She did so much for the Wellington region over so many years in her quiet and understated way. There are countless young people who have benefitted from her hard work supporting opportunities to bridge the gap between education and employment. What an amazing legacy and what an enormous gap she has left.
