PARKIN, Catherine Jane:
Peacefully on Friday 28th January 2022 surrounded by her family, aged 51 years. Will be dearly missed by her loving partner Grant and his daughters Sarah and Laura. Much loved daughter of Margaret; and Chris and his wife Sue. Adored Auntie of Caith and sister of Anneliese and her partner Allan. A service to celebrate Catherine's life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Wednesday 2nd February at 2.00pm. Due to current Covid19 restrictions, numbers will be limited to 100 and vaccine passes will be required. For those unable to attend a livestream link is available by contacting Waikanae Funeral Home, 04 293 6844 or [email protected]. In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice (marypotter.org.nz) or Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand (leukaemia.org.nz) would be appreciated and can be left at the service.

So sorry to hear of your great loss. Devastating to lose a child and sister who still had so much life to live. I'm sure you have been tirelessly supporting her in these recent hard times. I hope there is some comfort knowing she is in a better place. I wish you peace in your journey through this grief.
