Catherine AITKEN Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Nelson Tasman Region Hospice on August 23, 2024, in Nelson, aged 80. Loved wife of Jim. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Craig (Bright, Australia) and Tracey and Shane (Wānaka). Loved step-mother and step-mother-in-law of Andrew and Helen (Wellington), James and Lou (Wellington), Jo and Andy (Nelson) and Sally and Brenden (Wellington). Loved grandmother and Nana of Alyssa, Caitlin and Holly; Lucy and Tom; Sophie, Lachie and Tessa; Elsie; and Flynn and Lola. A private service has been held for Cath on Monday, August 26, 2024, where her family and friends shared their memories. The service was followed by a cremation. The family wish to thank the wonderful caring staff of the Nelson Tasman Region Hospice and, in lieu of flowers, would appreciate donations to be made to the Hospice in Cath's memory.
