Carol ARMSTRONG Obituary

ARMSTRONG, Carol Ann
(nee Henderson):
Peacefully at home in Wellington on 17 January 2021 after a long and hard fought battle to survive. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Robert for 51 years. Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Paulette and Paul Pettit; Victoria, and Belinda Walshe (London); Angelique and Hunter Mitchell; Cassandra, and Sianon Bleakley. Adored and passionately loved Grannie of Will and Ben, Luca and Heath, Olive and Scarlet, Charlie and Havana. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Philip and Verree, Richard and Lindsay (Christchurch), and John (deceased). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Plunket Society would be appreciated. Huge and special thanks to the many nurses who constantly supported Carol at home for her final five months. Messages to "the Armstrong family" may be left in Carol's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz, or posted to PO Box 44-176, Lower Hutt. Carol's special service will be held at St Mary of the Angels, Boulcott Street, Wellington, on Tuesday 26 January at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
