Calliopi ANASTASIOU Obituary

On 10 November 2023, aged 93. Loved wife of the late Fotios. Cherished mother of Con (Dino) and Marie, and Spiro and Lynda. Adored Yiayia (grandmother) of Helena and Ben, Chrissy and Ben, Samuel and Georgia, and Isabella. Great-grandmother of Olivia, Leo and Luca. Beloved aunt of Con and Jill, great-aunt of Melissa and Kate, Lindsay, Jackson and Evie. Life-long friend of Mariana (Sydney). Thanks to Dr Stephanie Matich and the wonderful doctors, nurses and medical staff at Wellington Regional Hospital who cared for her so well. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Messages to the family may be left in Calli's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. A service to celebrate the life of Calli will be held at Greek Orthodox Cathedral, "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mt Victoria, Wellington on Tuesday 14th November at 10.00am, thereafter burial at Karori Cemetery. May she rest in love and peace.

My deepest sympathy to All the Anastasiou Family in the loss of your much-loved Calli. She has been a lovely friend to many over the years she lived at Rita Angus Retirement Village. May she rest in peace.
