Caitlin KERR Obituary

KERR, Caitlin:
Sadly on January 16, 2022 our beautiful, caring and sassy daughter Caitlin passed away peacefully with us at her side, after her long battle with cancer, aged 15 years. Beloved daughter of Hayden, Kezia, and the late Nicola Kerr, and amazing inspiration to everyone her life has touched. While we are happy knowing she is in heaven with her mum, the lives of us left behind will be so much less colourful without her here to brighten our days. A celebration of Caitlin's life will be held at the Upper Hutt Baptist Church, 1 Milton Street, on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1.00pm. For anyone who wishes to see her, she will be there for viewing between 12.00pm-12.30pm. The service will be followed by light refreshments. There will be no open floor for speakers, but there will be a way for people to leave a message. But, in the meantime, if you would like to send a message of a memory you have of Caitlin, please send it through to [email protected]. We are wanting this to be a celebration, so we encourage you to wear bright and/or sparkly coloured clothing. The service will be vaccine pass only, please allow time for checking in. For those who are unable to attend, we are intending to livestream. Please contact [email protected] for details.

Hayden, Kezia. My deepest condolences go with you and forever with the loss of Caitlin. Caitlin was a fighter, a lovely young lady and delightful friend to many of her school friends. Rest In Peace. My thoughts are with you.

We were so sorry to hear that Caitlin had lost her battle with cancer. We remember her as a bright and very active pre-schooler when Stewart and Sharon used to look after her. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to you at this sad time.
