STEELE, Bruce Walter:
Peacefully at Churtonleigh Rest Home, Churton Park, Wellington on 10 July 2016, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Betty. Father and father-in-law of Lorraine and Ross, Christine and the late Mike, David and Claire; Granddad to Vanessa, Brett and Philippa, Mathew and the late Sam and Rosie, great grandad to Lorietta. Special thanks to the staff of Churtonleigh for their support and care. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Stroke Foundation, PO Box 12-482, Wellington would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to The Steele Family, c/- PO Box 39-067, Wellington Mail Centre, Petone. A service for Bruce will be held in the Ninness Funeral Home Chapel, 17 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua on Thursday, 14 July 2016 at 11:00am.

Dear Betty and family,
Would like to express our sincere sympathy on the loss of Bruce. Having known Bruce since I was 5 years old, he was like an elder brother to me. Taught me how to shoot rabbits and we shared many sailing experiences. Later on we even became team mates for Paremata rugby. In latter years we had some wonderful times fishing in the Sounds.
