Bruce PERRY Obituary

After a wonderful 93 years of adventures and memories made with family and friends our Dad passed peacefully on 30 July 2023 with family by his side. Loved father of Stuart, Warren, Susan and Linda, and loved husband of the late Noeleen. Grandad to Frances, Kristie, Ashleigh, Ethan and Lewis, and proud great-granddad of Phoebe, Sophie, Grayson, Aylah, Paisley, and Theo. The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors and all the staff at Malvina Major for the empathy, care and kindness shown to Dad and us, his family in these last few weeks. Messages may be left in Bruce's tribute page at www.tributes.co.nz. A service will be held at St John's Church, Bassett Road, Johnsonville, on Friday 4 August 2023 at 2.00pm and will be followed by private cremation.

So sorry to hear of Bruce´s passing. I knew Bruce for many years as a member of Wellington Scottish and Wellington Masters Athletics. A truly lovely sole, who along with Noeleen gave so much time to or sport.

Bruce was a neighbour of mine at Malvina Major RV for over 12 years so I have many happy memories of activities and events shared. Bruce was an enthusiastic resident who came up with several good ideas, the Conservatory off La Scala being one.

My condolences to his close family who will no doubt draw strength from each other as they share memories of their parents.

Bruce made me & my wife so welcoming when we moved to Malvinas Major with his friendship & kindness.He was a real good friend.

I am sure he ran so he could eat all those pavlovas, always a request for a pav. Thankfully Susan was very adept at baking them..
That running bug surely got him and took him to many places and adventures.
