Brian McCARTHY Obituary
26.10.1930 – 25.08.2023 At Summerset on the Landing, Kenepuru. Much loved husband of Pat and father of Peter, Michaela, Gregory, Christopher, Brigid and the late Richard. Caring father-in-law to his many sons and daughters-in-law. Loving Grandad to his 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Will be very sadly missed. A Requiem Mass to farewell Brian will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, corner Main and Lyndhurst Roads, Tawa on Thursday 31 August 2023, commencing at 11.00am, followed by interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.

Dear Pat,
I am sorry to read of Brian's passing and I extend my sincere sympathy to your family and you in your sad loss. I have many happy memories of sharing and discussing issues on travel commutes from Porirua to Wellington. I admired his gardening skills and yours of managing the garden produce.
