So sad to hear of Brians passing
He was a mentor and friend to me for a number of years at CBA Bank in Wellington in the late 1970's/early 1980's and also in Auckland when he moved up with Marac.
A great boss and also a great guy to have a few beers with socially - an amazing sense of humour too.
We also met again many years later in regard to Iwi finance matters.
I am sorry that I have only just become aware of Brian's passing and did not get the opportunity to honour him at the marae

Eliza and Whanau,
Shattered to hear the news, my thoughts are with you all. He was truly one of the great friends and mentors in my rugby days.
Hugs, thoughts, and prayers are with you all.
