Passed away peacefully in his 90th year, at Brightwater Home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday 31 October 2017. Dearly loved husband of Pauline (deceased). Devoted companion of Rona (deceased). Loved father and father-in-law of Jane and Martin Wall; Paul and Robyn Cooper; and Jacaline and Grant O'Donnell. Loved Toops of Megan, Hamish and Matthew O'Donnell; Thomas and Matthew Cooper; and Nicholas Wall.
"A true gentleman till the end who devoted his life to his family and veterinary science.
He will be greatly missed."
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful support and care given to Brian by the staff at Brightwater Rest Home, Metlifecare and the Marion Kennedy Centre. A Requiem Mass for Brian will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 197 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North, Tomorrow (Thursday), 2 November 2017, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Kelvin Grove Lawn Cemetery, James Line, Palmerston North. You are most welcome to attend a reflective vigil around Brian at 8.00pm Tonight, at Paul and Robyn's home, 83 Glenburn Road, RD 10, Palmerston North. Family request no flowers please but a donation can be left in the Cathedral foyer for the Marion Kennedy Centre or posted to PO Box 527, Palmerston North.
