Brent GRANNETIA Obituary

GRANNETIA, Brent:
It is with much sadness that we farewell Brent who passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in Wellington ICU Thursday 16th June 2022, aged 50. He was a loving husband to Jacqui and adored father of Sam, Jess (dec) and Tommy. The cherished son of John Grannetia & Julie Puata (both dec) and son-in-law to Barry & Glenda Tustin, and stepson to Montha Chhean. Loved brother & brother-in-law of Annett & David, Kylee & Dan, Chad & Bianca. Caring & Fun Uncle of Josh, Hazel, & Māreikura, Lana & Ceira, Lucca & Anais. Brent was hugely popular and will be missed dearly by his family and friends, particularly in the local Te Horo community, the Kapiti building industry, dirt bikers, tennis fraternity and local music scene.
We will miss Brent immensely.
A service to celebrate Brent's life will be held at the Te Horo Community Hall, School Road, Te Horo, on Tuesday 21st June 2022 at 1:30pm to be followed by a private family cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated to Starship Hospital.

I am stunned to hear of Brent's death. Brent worked for me at Hiremaster in Paraparaumu, on and off around university , and was full time prior to that. Super guy, good worker, and a friend. I recall his wedding on Pram beach, and the function at the Club across the road. His dad the printer, his green Hillman Hunter.... sadly missed.
