Betty (Elizabeth Janet):
Died suddenly on December 1, 2022, after a long and eventful life. Cherished wife to Ken (dec), treasured mother of Nigel, Ali, Kevin, and Marie Clare. Deeply loved Grandmother of Haven, Jasmin, Alex, Squarma, Gareth, Jasper, and Great-Grandmother to Mason, Zoe, Freya, Orion, and Iris. Sister to Mary, Ann, Vivian, Gwen, and Angela. Aunt to many and friend to all. A service and Celebration of Betty's life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae on Thursday, December 8 at 11.00am.
Wrapped in the arms of her beloved Ken once more, Forever young.

When I was a child, we used to visit Betty and Ken. I always ended up in the kitchen sharing recipes with Betty and together we cracked the black art of making Yorkshire Pudding. I generally didn't know what to say around most of my parents' friends, but I loved visiting Betty and Ken who always had time for me. For what it is worth, I feel that they are together again.

My deepest sympathy to Betty's famiy.
Betty was a much loved member of our Rebus Garden Group and was well liked by us all. She was good company, positive and fully involved in our small gatherings. She was also a regular attender at the monthly Rebus meetings. We will all miss her bright smile. Rest in Peace Betty.
