Bernadette HYLAND Obituary
Bernadette Patricia:
Passed away suddenly on 25 August 2021, aged 64; the dearly loved wife of David and loved mother of Eamonn, Sean, Conor, Dillon and Ciaran. Bernadette was the loved mother-in-law of Sarah and grandmother of Jack. Bernadette is a cherished sister (and sister-in-law) of families spread around the world who grieve in absence. Bernadette was a 'good sort' in the community and her passing is felt greatly. We extend special thanks to NZ Police for their compassion and empathy during our grief. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home of Compassion Soup Kitchen would be appreciated and made online at https://soupkitchen.org.nz/donate/. Messages to 'the Hyland family' may be left in Bernadette's book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. A service in appreciation of Bernadette's life will be held online on Wednesday 1 September 2021 at 1.00pm, thereafter a private cremation. Our very deepest condolences to you all on the sudden loss of the lovely Bernadette. She was a very proud mum & extremely proud grandma of our shared grandson Jack in New York. Sincere condolences, love and prayers to David and the boys. I knew Bernadette many years ago when I was teaching at St Patrick's Primary School in Kilbirnie. She was a lovely person and will be missed in the community.
