GARCIA, Bernadette Clare
(nee Munro):
Passed away peacefully in New Plymouth on Monday, 8th August 2022, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Denis. Loved Mum and Mother-in-law of Martin and Denise, Annette and Andrew Manuel, John and Chona, Maree and John Bocock, Anthony and Marley, Geraldine and Bruce Hamilton, and the late Denise. Loved and respected Nan to 24 grandchildren, great-nan to 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Vincent de Paul New Plymouth would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Bernadette is at Maree and Bo's home, 25a Paynters Ave, New Plymouth, until 4.00pm, Wednesday, for anyone who wishes to pay their respects. Requiem Mass for Bernadette will be celebrated at Our Lady Help Of Christians Catholic Church, Clinton St, Fitzroy, New Plymouth, on Thursday 11th August 2022 at 10.30am. Thereafter to the Awanui Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the church on Wednesday evening at 5.00pm. To protect our vulnerable family and community members, we respectfully request attendees wear masks if possible. We are so grateful to have had the support of the Rhapsody Rest Home family who cared for our Mum - thank you.
