Belinda MERRALL Obituary

4 October 1951 – 2 September 2023

Dearly loved wife and soul mate of Graeme, loved mother of Tom, Joe, Rose and Sam, loved mil of Lou and Phillip. Loved GranBee of James, Anna and Emily Merrall and Hazel and Maisie Waters and furbies Poppy and Paddy Merrall. Loved daughter of the late Grahame and Isobel Martin, and loved sister of Paul, Kathy and Janet (Jenny). Aw Beebee Dandelion I can't believe it's been a whole year since you left us so quickly, your body failing you. You were my best friend and sister for 68 years and I'd never thought of a world without you. You've left a fabulous legacy with your children and grandchildren who all have a lot of Bee in them – and it warms my heart to see them come out with things exactly as you would say them, and do things exactly as you would. You've left a massive hole in all our lives and this is the only way I can describe it – thanks to Ringo Starr and his fabulous song Photograph...

Every time I see your face
it reminds me of the places we used to go
But all I've got is a photograph
and I realise you're not coming back any more
I thought I'd make
The day you went away
But I can't take it
'Til you come home again to stay
I can't get used to living here
While my heart is broke, my tears, I cry for you
I want you here to have and hold
As the years go by, and we grow old and gray
Now you're expecting me
To live without you
But that's not something
That I'm looking forward to
I can't get used to living here
While my heart is broke, my tears, I cry for you
I want you here to have and hold
As the years go by, and we grown old and gray
Every time I see your face
It reminds of the places we used to go
All I've got is a photograph
And I realise you're not coming back any more
