MEYERS, Barry Michael:
On 28 February, peacefully at Cashmere Home, Johnsonville. Loved father of Michael & Charmaine, brother of Tony, Patricia, & Gerard, and father-in-law of Rhys and Kirsten, good friend of Jann. Also loved by his nephew & nieces and his former wife, Shirley. The family wish to thank all those who have cared for Barry, including the staff of Cashmere for their special care of Barry. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to the family may be sent c/- Lychgate, 7 Johnsonville Road, Wellington. A service for Barry will be held at St Peter & Paul's Church, Dr Taylor Tce, Johnsonville on Friday 3 March at 10.00am followed by burial at Makara.

Rest in Peace my friend. It's a long time since we met on the steps of the Wellington Railway Station in 1963, my first direct contact with Wellington Olympic Harriers. Sincere condolences to the family.
