THOMSON, Barbara Mary:
Peacefully on 16 March 2016, at Parkwood Hospital, Waikanae aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Malcolm. Treasured, beautiful mother and mother in law of Wendy, David and Nicki, and Bruce. Adored Nanny to Kathryn and Thomas, Anna, Rachel and Sarah, Becky and Ben. Loved great Nanny of Pippa, Annabel and Ella. Cherished sister of the late Judy and much loved sister in law of Keith and their family. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Parkwood Lodge and Hospital for their loving care and friendship to our dear Mum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Blind Foundation (guide dogs) Private Bag 99941, Newmarket, Auckland 1149 would be appreciated or may be left in the church foyer. Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Barbara's wonderful life at St John the Baptist Anglican Church, Bruce Street, Hunterville on Thursday, 24 March at 2pm.
