Singer and Gardener.
5th August 1941 -
21st June 2021.
Loved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, neighbour and partner. Sincere and heartfelt thanks are extended to the Woburn Enliven family for their gentle care of Barbara and her cat Billy who was with her right to the end. A private cremation will follow.

We all adored Barbara. Such a kind and gentle person but very staunch politically. A huge advocate for social justice. Our mutual friend Graeme Oldershaw died a few years ago and she and Graeme were devoted friends. May the two of you be raising a glass somewhere as we speak. Murray and Bruce xx

Barbara helped me in my garden at 114 Muritai Road 15 or so years ago.
She was such a beautiful person, gentle, kind, interested and interresting.
My 3 sons and I have wonderful memories of her.

Barbara lived across the road from us when we first moved to NZ in 1974- Rona St, Eastbourne. She was the kindest, gentlest soul who always had a smile and would always help if needed. She was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace.
