Aylene Grace (nee Cathro):
Passed away peacefully on January 7, 2021, at home in Waipukurau surrounded by her family. Aged 71. Eldest daughter of the late Durham (Jack) and June Cathro of Green Island and later Wanaka, and cherished sister of Roslyn (Gold Coast). Loved wife of Lon, and mother and mother-in-law of Rachael and Neil, Rebecca and Shaun, Jonathan and Rachel and Nicolas and Adele. A much loved granny to Sterling and Harriet, Emma, William and Louisa, Jack, Isabella, Lottie and Archer, and Hazel and Céci. In accordance with Aylene's wishes, a private service and cremation has been held. The family wish to acknowledge the caring and supporting help extended by Dr Bob Stephens in particular, and also Dr's Jane Nash and Paddy O'Brien. Jody Jordan and the oncology team at Villa 6 HBDHB. The staff at the Waipukurau Medical Centre, Charles and the team at Unichem Pharmacy. The CHB district nurses Rose Meg Lyn and Caroline.
