Augusta Franciszka:
Peacefully on 11th May 2022, aged 86. Deeply loved mother of Jacqui and Jeff. Much appreciated and loved mother-in-law of Marc and Suzanne. Dearly loved Grumgrum to Kyle and Reuben. Precious friend to many over her lifetime. Thanks to Te Hopai Home and Hospital for their loving care and support of Augusta over the last six and a half years. No flowers please. Messages for the 'Booth family' may be sent C/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie 6241 or left in Augusta's tribute book www.tributes.co.nz A service for Augusta will be held at The Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr of Cockburn Street & Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, on Tuesday 17th May at 11.00am, followed by a cremation.

My sincere condolences to Augusta's family. Augusta was a lovely lady. I have fond memories of working with Gussy at the Ministry of Health. We shared a fondness for gardening. Augusta used to look for people to adopt monarch caterpillars when she didn't have enough swan plants to feed them all. I remember carrying some home from work on the bus in an ice cream container and they started to escape just before I got home (the container didn't have a lid). It was a little challenging getting off the bus with the precious cargo intact but we made it! She loved all little critters.
