Ashley REID Obituary
Passed suddenly on Sunday 19 September 2021. Much loved son of Francis and Margaret. Brother of Alex, Shirley and Brad and brother-in-law of Carolyn, and uncle.
He will be missed.
A private funeral has been held for Ashley.

I once bowled the perfect ball, spinning hard, spot on length. Ashley casually swotted it over the fence, into the swamp. He was just so better organised than most of us.

Friday 2nd August 2013, was when my favourite teacher retired..
My best friend and I ditched all our spells that day just to make his farewell card, go get him a cake and a card and just hang out with him on his last day.
He did so much for us, and we are forever grateful.
Thank you for everything Mr, I will always take with me the lessons you taught

You were my teacher in the 3rd form, was it true you were in the Wahine when it sank and used your cricket bat to float to safety? I will always remember how much we laughed when you told us this. You were a good teacher
