Late of Whanganui. Dearly loved husband of Sari, and father and father-in-law to Karen and Mark Smeed, Allistair and Irene Verschoor. Cherished Opa to Steven, Craig, Kristina, Kolini, Jonelle and Ryan and their partners. Great-Opa to 12 great-grandchildren. Brother and brother-in-law to Anna-Maria (deceased) Verschoor, Fred and Raewyn Verschoor, and Maria and Pieter (deceased) Braam, Tini and Jan Schoemaker, Marianne and Rien Mellard (both deceased), Nico and Ans (deceased) Zwartveld, and Ria and Kees Lagerwaard, and many nephews and nieces in The Netherlands and Australia. A Private Burial for Art was held on Tuesday, 6 July 2021.
