Archie LESIUK Obituary
LESIUK, Archie
It is with sadness that the family of Archie (Art) Lesiuk announces his death on May 22, 2017 in Courtenay, B.C. He is survived by three sisters and nieces and nephews who will miss him. He was a good uncle and loving brother. Archie was born in Mundare, Alberta. He spent his young adult life living in Edmonton while working in Uranium City and Fort McMurray. In the early 1970's he moved to Vancouver where he lived, working in Port Hardy until he retired. In the mid 1980's Art became a jogger and participated in the annual Vancouver Sun Run until he was 72. He retired from marathoning on the 20th anniversary of his first run. At Archie's request there will be no funeral service. His family will visit together and celebrate his life in his favourite place.
