Annette NELSON Obituary
Passed away at Aroha Care Home on 21 January 2024, aged 75 years, after a determined battle with cancer. Dearly loved wife of Gary. Loved daughter of Jack (dec) & Daphne (dec). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Ken, Ray, Colin & Debbie (Minneapolis), Brian & Irene Nelson, and Steve Nelson. Loved Auntie of Mike & Jo Nelson, Toni & Dale Nelson, John Nelson & Lisa, Philip Nelson, and Jodie & John Eaton. Dearly loved by her grand nephews and nieces. Greatly loved by her doggy friends, especially Phoebe. A service to remember Annie's life will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Friday 26 January 2024, at 11.00am followed by private cremation. Donations to Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service or online via www.teomanga.org.nz. We were saddened to hear about the loss of Annie. We remember her best from the old days at Maidstone Squash Club. Annette taught some of us females the Can Can & the Charleston which we performed at one of our many social nights. She even taught some of the males a ballet routine. Happy memories from many moons ago. Rest in Peace Annie.
