Andrew BURNS Obituary
Passed away peacefully on 28 September 2021 in Lower Hutt. Beloved husband of Molly. Loved father of Garry & Diana, the late Robyn, and Lance. Loved Grandad of Leanne and Katrina & Richard; Scott & Tessa and Kimberley & Alessandro; Logan and Jordan. Loving great-grandad to Andrew, Aryanne and Alysanne. Messages to the family may be posted to PO Box 44-176, Lower Hutt 5040. A funeral service for Andrew will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, 665 High Street, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday 5 October, at 2.00pm. I was lucky enough to have Andy come into my life way back in 2010 (it was earlier, but I can't be 100% sure and that's when I returned home from the UK). The Brown/Kelly Family were welcomed into the Horton/Burns family, and I feel very lucky to have a wider family group to love and connect with. Andy was always gentle and kind and a great storyteller, however underneath that exterior there always seemed to me to be a little bit mischief and a touch of stubbornness which resulted in him being a true character. He always showed love and support for his family, and it has been so lovely to see him in the photos with his great grandchildren I know he was looking forward to another one coming soon, together with the family celebration early next year be brave and continue to support each other the way that you do he will be looking down and smiling.
