Alistair GRIFFITHS Obituary
Passed away peacefully in Wellington Hospital after a short illness, on 20 June 2023, aged 81. Dearly loved and hugely precious husband of Lesley, much loved and cherished father of Leisel and Scott, father-in-law of Andrew Hull and Tricia Will, son of Wilfred and Wendy Griffiths (dec), and grandfather of Hannah, Drue, Sophie, Georgie and Hamish. A private cremation will be held, with celebration of Alistair's life to take place at a later date. Thanks to the staff at Wellington Hospital. I am a niece of Uncle Alistair living in Hawkes Bay. I remember Ali as a 'larger than life' kind of man, with a hearty laugh and during my younger years always interested in my achievements and goals. He always offered good advice, and I know how supportive he (and Lesley) has been to my parents over the years. He lived life to the full and I am sorry to hear of his loss and know he will be sadly missed by all his family but extremely well remembered. Thank you for being a part of my life Uncle Ali.
