No better Mum. A truly kind and intelligent person whose life was a tapestry of resolute character up against many hard challenges. Relentless and indefatigable to the end her legacy casts a beam of light for her many descendants. Well done Mum!
We love you dearly

Sorry to hear of Alison's passing. Have fond memories of her when working on the farm during summer holidays. A remarkable woman, could do anything, was a councillor, ran felting courses on the farm, could shear sheep, cooked a great feed, had a great sense of humour, and was very clever and well educated. Always surprised me when she would tell you the Latin root word of something and explain the etymology. And she drove the legendary Austin Cambridge 'dunga'. Unforgettable, you lost a wonderful mother.
