Alison RISEBOROUGH Obituary

Passed away on Saturday 19th August 2023 at Wellington Hospital, aged 62. Beloved daughter of the late John and Clare. Loved sister of Malcolm and Donald, sister in law of Julie and Susan. Aunt to Ana,Claudia, James, Madeline and Thomas. Great aunt to Henry Ted and Mary. Thank you to those who provided care and support for Alison through her life. A celebration of Alison's life will be held at a time to be announced.

We so admired how Alison battled for the rights of disabled people, including the right to use buses and the right to live where people wanted to live. When Alison died, she was still battling for some things, and we will try and see these battles through, in your memory.

Oh Alison I will so miss you. You were a good friend, a staunch woman with an acute eye and such a dry wit. Not to mention that spirit of adventure, though I'm not sure that you quite anticipated it would lead to a stare-down of the Bus and Coach Association! You leave me many excellent memories. xx Wendi
