To all of Alison's Family -
Our sincere and belated condolences and sorry we were unable to be there. for being a great hostess and cook. She introduced my wife Annette to the Riding for the Disabled and really looked forward to going out to help and especially 'side walking the horses' with children. Both Alison and Graham were extremely supportive in my time there at St Peter's as Vicar of the parish.
Sincerely and all of our aroha. David and Annette - 203 River Road Claudelands Hamilton 3214.

We lived in Whetukura, you on the Munga Road and me on the Ahiweka Road. We went by bus to Ormondville School and then we went to boarding school at Queenswood in Hastings which is now Taikura Rudolf Steiner then onto Iona College in Havelock North. Alison was a year older than me and a class ahead of me. One Sunday evening at tea time at Iona Alison and I were sitting at the same table for the term and Alison showed me how to change the wording on the new tin lid of the Marmite jar from "Too much spoils the flavour" to "Too much oils the lav". The things that one remembers!
Happy birthday to Alison on 2 March. God Bless her and sympathy to all her family.

I first met Alison when she came to my home to offer my daughter the opportunity to be involved in Riding for the Disabled. Thank you for all you have done for RDA and disabled riders in our community. Rest in peace Alison.
