My heartfelt condolences to all the family. Such a shock. He will be greatly missed by all that know him. His quick wit, knowledge & thoughtfulness to be admired. Loved all the stories of Mac the cat...& was so proud of his children's achievements & dearly loved his grandkids.
I'll miss him greatly.

I remember him going to Ford garage when he was young, up the road from his place to arrange a new car for Uncle Norm. Caused a bit of a drama. Something to do with not having to pay some tax for hand controls. But in the end Uncle Norm got his first car - a new Ford!! Alan loved his cars. We enjoyed many school holidays together with Steph & Alan both at Ohope & Beckenham Ave while growing up. Rest in peace cuz
