Dear Annie
We have just heard today of Alan´s passing and we both feel so sad. Al was great to work for and we had some good laughs over the dishes in the Relish kitchen. You will, of course, have wonderful memories, Annie, but will be missing him so much and we send you our heartfelt sympathy and love.

I was shocked and very saddened to hear of Alan´s passing.
I have very fond memories of Alan going back to the 80s in the saddlery shop and obviously of his competing with us at the shows.
Your wonderful cafe and the beautiful vanilla slices.
I am very sorry for your loss Anne as I know what strong partners you were, and please pass on my thoughts to your girls.
I know you will have a strong family team around you to give you the support and strength you will need right now.

Dear Anne and family,
We would like to offer our condolences to the whole family.
In the early years, Alan was such good value on the show circuit. Many a time we watched him and Memphis,take on the thrilling six bar challenge, or any FEI event. With our hearts in our mouths ,we would watch as the pair soared effortlessly to yet another victory! Alan was the true classic rider and such an inspiration for us all.
And in later years our family enjoyed the warm atmosphere at Relish, not to mention, delicious dishes,coffee and deserts!
Alan always had a smile and nice word to say , a true gentleman.
