Alan DAVIES Obituary
Died unexpectedly on 29 August 2022, after a heart attack at 62 years old. Alan will always be remembered and loved by Debbie, Caitlin and Brent, Annalise and Gavin and his beautiful grand babies Bri and Maddi. Left behind his Mum Margaret, his siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends who have become family. He will have a whiskey with his Dad Owen on arrival. Alan will be missed by so many. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated. A funeral service for Alan will be held in Gee and Hickton's Guardian Chapel on Friday 2 September at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. More than 20 years ago Alan arrived for some plumbing work and half way through the day with a twinkle in his eye said "What's for lunch?" I don't remember what I cooked him but it must have been alright as the next time he came he dropped us some of his home made swan sausages.
We bounced back and forth over the years, lunches and great conversations...recently pictures of the new build and the grandchildren....and his instructions for the ultimate plunger coffee !! ..
Alan..you're an irreplaceable gem and we will miss you so so much.
