Alan you were taken from us so suddenly. We will miss your special smile, warm heart, kindness and generosity. Our thoughts are with your family, Marie, Alan jnr, Tracie and all the grandchildren at this difficult time.

Marc and I were so sad and shocked to hear of Alan's death. We meet about 11 years ago through the Jaguar club. Alan and Marie you were an inspiration to us of a beautiful marriage of two amazing people who loved their other dearly. You also knew how to have great fun and enjoy yourselves. Such a shock to hear of this very sad news. So pleased we caught up with Marie and Alan 12 months ago when we were last in NZ. He was one of the world's nicest men and we were privileged to call him a friend. Sincere condolences to Marie, Alan jnr and Tracie. xxx

I am so sad to hear Alan's demise. He is the person who interviewed and selected me in India for a job at Ajax GKN and I am very grateful to him for that. May his soul rest in peace and my sincere condolences to his family. I am very sorry that I cannot be at the funeral due to an important appointment but he will be in my thought.

Alan will be sadly missed by his family and lifelong friends and workmates from years ago ex Ajax GKN where alan was my go to person for maintaining machines ,a very talented person and always willing to help , especially if you owned a mini! Rest In Peace Alan you were a first class person and will be sadly missed by all who knew him ,my condolences to his families at this sad time. Gilbert.
