Adam KOS Obituary

Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Rawene, on 20 February, 2024. Much loved son of Maureen and Janos (both deceased), brother of Stephen, brother-in-law of Jocelyn and uncle of Jack and Rosie (and to Geneva and Alex). A profoundly decent man. Grateful thanks to Hauora Hokianga, Carol Zambucka and Matt White. A private cremation has taken place. A commemoration of Adam's life will be held in Rawene at a later date.

I was so saddened to read the sad news that Adam had passed. I knew Adam whilst working at Rawene and spent many wonderful hours in the company of Adam and his delightful mother Maureen. Adam made the most incredible lemon meringue pie's as I recall. A gentleman through and through I am sure he will be missed by many in Rawene.

I was saddened to hear of Adam´s death.
He was a true gentleman, kind ,considerate and charming at all times.
I remember him caring for his mother Maureen with much devotion and love.
His light sense of humour and his pleasure in every day occurrences of note was a delight to experience.

Rawene has lost a special person.
It will be strange and sad to drive by the house he lived in with Maureen and know that they are no longer there. An end to an old world graciousness. I miss them both.
