Chook , where do I start !
I guess the beginning is a bloody good place as you would've said x
Thank you so much for always having my back and for loving me unconditionally.
Your humour and knack of making everything ok will be so sadly missed .
Be free mum and give that boy of ours a massive hug x

It is sad to hear of your passing Chook, but I know you will continue to watch over your family, despite your not being here with us anymore.
It is interesting that it was only last month you were asking for details of where Rod and I lived in Blenheim it was 25 years since we lived there, but nice to think back to those times, and that you were thinking of us.
I have many happy memories of my time as part of your family, and always enjoyed your sense of humour.
Chook you sure had to cope with some big challenges and losses no mother should ever have to cope with, but you continued to be a strong and loving woman and will be missed by many.
I pass on my love and best wishes to the family. Although I cannot make it to the funeral, I will be sure to take some time out Friday at 11am to think of you Chook, and the extended family.
Now at peace, but not forgotten.
With love from Debbie

So many fond memories of a lovely lady who visited us many years ago & made a great bee-line to the loneliest camel at the Ettamogah Pub. He was happy & we had lots of laughs.
RIP Chook. Forever in our s. Lots of love, Kathy & John Atkins

Dear Mum (Chook). Thanks for being a great mum who was always ready to give anything a GO! Jackie and I will treasure all the great memories we have of our travels overseas and all the laughter involved. I am so glad Jackie and I got to see you a few weeks ago and how happy you were. Love Steve. (P.S. As you would say.....remember a good solider never looks behind! x)

Dear Val (aka Chook!), You were one very special lady who took on whatever life threw at you and always with a smile. You had this amazing ability to make people laugh, even if it was at your own expense. I loved our chats and I will miss having them with you. Rest in Peace and enjoy being in the arms of the family and friends who were there to greet you. (You may want to leave the "bleep bleep" words out though!) Love always, Jackie (Daughter-In-Law)

Beautiful nana. I love you so much. Thank you for being a wonderful role model. I hope Jason greeted you with a soggy tomato sandwich. Love always, Stacey.
