Greetings Natalie and family,
I was saddened to learn this morning of Harveys passing.
Harvey was my tutor teacher in my first year of teaching at Waimate Centennial School in 1973
Greg was in my std 4 class and Michele had just started school. I think Nicola may have been starting High School.
Harvey was an energetic leader and while teaching full time in his class of form 1&2 he managed time to mentor me and give me the support which set me up for my teaching career.
Harvey never sought the limelight but was also noticed through his real abilities in leading music festivals, relating to all of the staff and having a wonderful sense of humour. Please share our condolences with the family and friends
Kindest Regards Keith and Carol McKenzie
