So many amazing memories i have growing up as a kid with you around Glen you were a top guy. I will always remember our trips to the river and water skiing. a memory that sticks out clearly is the day at home when Sarah wasnt listening to you so you threw a gumboot and it got her in the back of the head lol she soon listened lol. Dan was saying he remembers a day at golf when ya patience got the better of ya and you threw ya golf club in the air and it got stuck in the tree lol. You have an amazing family who will forever do you proud. RIP xxx Lots of Love Bex Dan Akaesha Rae n Marlie

To Viv, Lauren, Sarah & Kate, on behalf of Glenn's cycling buddies our sincere condolences for your loss. Glenn was never one to shirk his time at the front of the bunch, together with Bill setting a mad tempo we were often pleased to see the end of the ride. I remember my first year riding and Glenn dropping back to pull me back to the bunch on a blustering day over in Foxton. He should have left me as five minutes later I fell off from sheer exhaustion and took out Johnny Praat on the way down. We have all had many memorable rides with Glenn, we had hoped it was just temporary and he would soon be rejoining us however it was not to be. He will always be remembered. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

Hi Viv and Girls

So sorry to hear about Glenn. This news came as a severe shock to me. I had no idea he had even been ill.

Glenn was a larger than life figure, a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed the time I spent interacting with him.

He was a great supporter of Coley Street and his girls. It wasn't all plain sailing however as he and Rudi caused a bit of anguish when they took over the Senior A Netball Team. They were just so competitive, borderline, and Jan and I both had to tell them off a few times!! But they certainly got great results from the girls and we enjoyed two seasons of exceptional netball. I remember they even went to a tournament in Auckland.

Condolences and very best wishes for the tough times ahead - time is a great healer, and you have a fantastic family for support. Thinking of you.
