So very sorry to hear of David's death. Dunedin bred a lot of good people that would go on to do incredible things in broadcasting. David was a fine journalist, broadcaster and gentleman.

David, you redefined so many of New Zealand's communications skills and options within print, broadcasting, politics and business. And your sharp intellect, creativity, energy and enthusiasm had an irresistible magnetism for those of us with whom you worked and associated. Farewell, good friend. Laurie & Sue Doolan
