BLISS, Fr Frederick Michael:
Loved confrere of the Society of Mary, aged 79 years. Peacefully at the Home of Compassion, Silverstream, on Wednesday 15 February 2017, aged 80. Loved son of the late Fred and Anne Bliss and loved Uncle and Granduncle. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick's Church, Munroe Street, Napier, on Monday 20 February, 2017 at 11.00 am, thereafter interment at the Taradale Cemetery.

It is so sad for me to learn of the death of Fr. Fredb Bliss. He was my moderator in both licence and doctorate studies at the Angelicum. For sure he was a great teacher and mentor to me. Thanks for the good work offered by Fr Bliss in forming students from all over the world. I will live to remember him. Fr Bliss we loved you but God loved you most. Rest in Peace.
